- Walking - Short strolls to long hikes; include Cleveland Way, Lyke Wake Walk, Roseberry Topping, Farndale daffodil walk. bilsdale.org.uk lists numerous local walks. We will be happy to drop /pick you up at local walking points.
- Biking - Bikes are available to hire at Sutton Bank National park centre with a 3 mile circuit.
- Fishing is available at a small lake.
- Swimming and leisure facilities at Stokesley leisure centre and an outdoor pool at Helmsley during summer.
- Riding at Bilsdale riding centre and pony trekking.
- Market towns Stokesley and Helmsley are both approximately 10 miles away. Both have many shops, pubs and eateries.
- Chop Gate has a pub and restaurant. There are numerous cafés, pubs restaurants and takeaways in nearby villages.
